Honestly it doesn't get under my skin at all, I just am like.. that was like as friendly a post as I could possibly make... while disagreeing... honest and sincere advice is when someone is being friendly not to hurl insults, which of course you can choose to take or not take...

So anyone that disagrees with anything is unfriendly and hostile? Look I know people are sensitive about their favorite anime, I only commented on something like Bebop because I sensed people here don't flip over sideways when you talk about something big, but believe me if it's too much to take or something I won't comment about it. I realize people keep coming back for entertainment and truly love anime and I have zero interest in interfering with that.

 

Anyway, I don't care about you disagreeing, truly, I'm pretty sure that happened with SAO, but worst poster eww ugh isn't really something I can grapple with substantively.... plus it hasn't been the thing I've been expecting here.

 

In many ways, I am very impressed with the people's likes and dislikes here, (including yours and Geth and.. whoever else) something like Madoka which isn't necessarily in the top 10 on ANN or Black Lagoon, and I think that's a direct result of just people feeling like that can expressing whatever old opinion they want (such as, I'm not really a fan of Bebop).

 

Anyway, I really did like the movie though, people should try that one.

Still editing your posts a ton I see. I dunno when this became an advice column thread tho.

I save the real insults for threads that deserve it, which aren't this one, so don't worry.

The conversation stopped being about Bebop for a little while now, hasn't it? I was pointing out that if the least hostile way you could respond is "grow up" then saying it didn't get under your skin probably wasn't true, lol. There are a lot "less hostile" ways to respond than that.

Regardless, I'm done with this. Feel free to keep talking about the things you don't like no matter how popular they are here or elsewhere. Sorry if my "insults" came across as too harsh. I guess. Not really. But if it'll make you feel better, sure.

 

I actually think that was a nice thing to say.. ignoring you wouldn't have given you any feedback at all, and that is what I do 99.8% of the time I see insults. I think "this person is just an A$$, w/e" and be on my merry way. You don't seem like a cruel person (and neither is Geth) so it felt like those comments were just faintly designed to meet some expectation of "bada$$ery" that plenty of people (like me) don't care about at all.

 

Now that I know does sound contradictory but it's true.

Honestly, people are more than aware I don't like SAO that much, just specific things about it like most people.

The Worst thing had alot more variables than that.

I don't like Evangelion.

I like the concept of Fate more than the execution

I (This is a more recent development) don't really like Gutts.

My disinterest in some of the more popular anime series here.

My inability to care about the differences between Western Animation and Anime (I understand there's a difference, I just don't really see that point)

People unable to understand Muh Waifus > Their Waifus.

And a few other things.
