I put the explanation in spoiler tags
I just went with Flesh as the title in case of some sort of filter, it's nothing gory.
I know it's not gorey. Sim said it so it's obviously something dirty.

Well, to be fair, I like Saber and I abhor the Fate route.
Edit: Correction, I like FZ Saber. Stay Night Saber feels like an entirely one dimensional character.
Mo-chan>Nero>>>>HF Saber>>UBW Saber>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Zero Saber>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fate route Saber
But yeah.
I don't have a fleshlight.
Or a Saber.
Might get a Saber though.
Rin figure or get rekt.
One thing legend of the Galactic Heroes did focus on was the pros and cons of two types of government, a monarchy and democracy. So far, I haven't seen that in The Ravages of Time but I'm not expecting it to be there due to the time period.I see.
Well I can agree on the strategies used, considering that the period that the adaptation is based on is widely praised for its usage military tactics (especially stratagems) which naturally is something that any adaptation tends to put it as a focal point in the narrative. LOGH in turn focus lies on the "political representation" of different form of governments--depicting the pros and cons of a monarchical and democratic systems, among other. Military strategy played a role as well of course, and was quite in depth in its representation, since it offered a large variation of different forms of naval combat which was its primary focus (while Three Kingomds offers that, along with many other kinds of warfare).
But do share your full opinion once you've finished it.

Figma is quite nice.
But Chihaya and Asuna first.

I'm not really that interested in figures right now, but I'm considering getting this one.

Keep in mind also that the strategies used a radically different.
Strategy and tactics (from my superficial understanding) is based on numerous factors such as equipment, resources, environment etc..
You can't compare strategy used in a 3D space environment to that of a 2D battlefield in 200AD China.
There are many other things to think about in that sort of environment, things you don't have to include within LOTGH.
Well yeah as I said, LOGH focused on naval combat and utilized it quite well and a lot more capably than other sci-fi I've seen (which end up falling into "FIRAH ALL DA LAZERSH" type of bullsh*t. Entertaining, but dumb.
Considering Three Kingdoms had everything from naval to ground warfare, it had more avenues to explore and different stratagems to utilize. But yes, you are right that warfare comes down to a lot of things other than simply "two factions duking it out on a large scale". There are behavior and conducts that are taken into account for, and the more layers that a series depicts, the more realistic it becomes. LOGH handled it adequately enough on that level, though I do personally think more could have been done.
CP Saber >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all sabers
CP is best Nasuverse material. Fact.
well their battles in space aren't really all that interesting and for some reason I find them highly improbableKeep in mind also that the strategies used a radically different.

I can get behind this fact
Nor should your mother, sister or girlfriend.
Well...yes, but I think that's obvious.
What the **** is a fleshlight?
It's kinda like a Lyra Plushie, but it's made of plastic and shaped like a flashlight, instead of fabric and horse shaped.
Rin figure or get rekt.
I mean, one exists.

But meh.
But yeah.
I don't have a fleshlight.
Honestly though; would you really share that info if you did have one?

I don't think Legend of the Galactic Heroes was bad at all , I just find that this manga has a level of surprise, complexity and tension on a level that legend of the Galactic Heroes lacks.
Certainly, they focus on two separate things after all. If you enjoy military warfare more, then I can see that you'd appreciate The Ravages of Times more. I prefer the TV show Three Kingdoms 2010 over LOGH, yet I love them both for what they both accomplish.

I suppose not.

What! You can like two things at the same time?

LOTGH does a lot of things good. Sort of a jack of all trades really, but I can't say it doesn't master 'anything.' Handling so much subject material is, in itself, a huuuuuuge undertaking it managed to balance masterfully.

Very true. LotGH manage to mix a lot of diverse things into one nice quality package
Well...yes, but I think that's obvious.
Just wanted to make sure Liam doesn't get off his PC, down to the living room or wherever and ask his mother "Mom, what's a "fleshlight"?".
... wait, on second thought, I actually want that. Liam, if you do, can you film it please?

Now when you've said it I so want that to happen..

I'M NOT THAT STUPID!

It's only dirty if it doesn't get washed.
