Just started rewatching FZ.
There are so many good scesn in this anime, this being one of them.
I also just saw the first added blu ray scene where Saber and Iri talk about Saber not being able to go into spirit form.
Ah yes! That scene kinda sent home the message that I was about to start watching something reeeeally awesome
While I'm not in any more favour of Saber continuously getting attention, but calling it BS just because of that is rather premature.
Around a 100 pages of Saber gushing despite only winning ONE fight by herself in both Zero and SN combined is bs. Takeuchi' can goad Nasu as much as he wants with this Saber bs, it won't change all the established content that shows she is just an overrated servant.

The first one is probably my favorite aswell. Just so insanely good!

One facet that I enjoyed seeing in FZ was the differences in ideology, and how they are all right to some degree. Rider was a very good foil for Saber in that regard. And I love how his words drove her to question everything that she had come to believe, especially in her final battle versus Lancelot.

As someone who read the VN first and then watched FZ, the Shirou and Kiritsugu epilogue is one of my favorite scenes.
I would change Kirei vs Kiritsugu with Rider vs Assassin.
But Gilgamesh vs Rider is definitely nr. 1.
Both Kiri and Kirei were amazing characters, but I just did not find them nearly as compelling as some of the Servants and their personal ideologies.

And then true to Saber she completely misunderstood everything and continued to go for her stupid wish that would in fact destroy Britain.
