As much as I liked Trigun originally it's been faaaaaar too long since I watched it to remember it well enough to know whether it's worth buying or not. **** I watched that around the same time I went through The Slayers

Well I was just going to share the IllyaxGil thing with House but I decided to be a nice guy and share it with y'all.

 

It's not my fault Sims gone to bed and this thread moves at 1/10 the speed. Like **** I catch up on break at work, go back to work and then come back to check a few hours later at lunch and it's moved like 5 pages forward X3

Watched the first 2 episodes. It was decent. Keep meaning to get back to it eventually since I've heard it mentioned alongside an old favorite of mine many times, which is Serial Experiments Lain. If it is anything like SEL then I suspect it probably takes a bit to really hit it's stride before you can fully appreciate it.

 

Also been meaning to read the Battle Angel Alita manga eventually. Picked up the first 2 mange books to check out.

Good thing you picked up the physical copies. The online scans are low quality. The 2nd book is truly spectacular.

 

I'm watching Tex as part of a simulwatch on MAL. i'm up to episode 8 right now and I like it a lot. Its very dark and atmospheric.

I wasn't here when the Rbellion movie came out.

 

Wasn't there anyone who was angry at "you know what" happening in the movie? Because I see a lot of people either loving or hating that movie.

Yeah a couple people were. An older user who I haven't seen in a while Mhmba disagreed with me about it a bit and we talked a good chunk about the final decision in it. I've also debated a few people on it since I'll basically defend it to the death. Discussing TRS is also how me and Ani became friends as a few people in this thread will remember since we both think fairly alike.

 

If you weren't here then you probably never saw me throw out book post after book post over how amazing it was lol.. I would sometimes pump out multiple giant posts on the same page over that series lol.
