Right. For me there *is* that fascinating dynamic of him saving so many lives while technically on a quest to end one. His undoubtedly massive sense of personal responsibility on the matter (of saving Johan and what that lead to) is a point I do very much enjoy, but much like you I do wish they'd let us into his head a little more. I do like the fact that fifty chapters in, I'm still not really all that able to predict end game, I'm mostly just hoping that Johan being pushed forward will break the current plot pattern of Tenma helping people for better or worse and leaving a trail of people fairly loyal to him because of it.

*If* the manga/anime does touch upon how both men build their loyalties through entirely different methods, I'll be happy.

Definitely glad to hear the dub is great too. Liam's a fab VA in general even though I'll always think of Aki when I hear him (which makes him voicing a ton of nameless NPCs in New Vegas kind of hilarious to me ). Going to have to look up who they chose for Johan since I have a certain sort of voice for him in my head as I read, so I'm curious if either casting choice felt the same.

NCR should have been renamed to The Liam Republic, since like 95% of all NCR NPcs where voiced by him XD

When Fate was originally being made, Shirou was a girl (Who was later made into Rin) and Saber was a dude called Saver.

It's just a shame that his character is absolutely awful now.

I try to be respectful with people, but just because you can wake up that early doesn't mean everyone else does.

As for almost all of the first 6 months this year I got nothing that require me to wake up before 10 am. Will go back to waking up awfully early after that when obligations start appearing, like work and such.

Shirou is basically a totally different character in UBW and HF, lol

Like I've said, Shirou is socially awkward in UBW and to a less degree in HF, but he is not a moron like Fate route portrayed him. He is extremely smart,  has a good sense of planning, can become calm in dangerous situations(which shocks and creeps Rin out) ect.
