Right. For me there *is* that fascinating dynamic of him saving so many lives while technically on a quest to end one. His undoubtedly massive sense of personal responsibility on the matter (of saving Johan and what that lead to) is a point I do very much enjoy, but much like you I do wish they'd let us into his head a little more. I do like the fact that fifty chapters in, I'm still not really all that able to predict end game, I'm mostly just hoping that Johan being pushed forward will break the current plot pattern of Tenma helping people for better or worse and leaving a trail of people fairly loyal to him because of it.
*If* the manga/anime does touch upon how both men build their loyalties through entirely different methods, I'll be happy.
Definitely glad to hear the dub is great too. Liam's a fab VA in general even though I'll always think of Aki when I hear him (which makes him voicing a ton of nameless NPCs in New Vegas kind of hilarious to me
). Going to have to look up who they chose for Johan since I have a certain sort of voice for him in my head as I read, so I'm curious if either casting choice felt the same.
Yeah, I agree with you 100%
It'll be also great to see their duality (if you can call it that) further played. They do share a ton of parallels which originally brought up the Frankenstein comparison.
Of course, that's long gone, but the remnants are still there.
Really? I get up at 6am all the time. Though I do usually sleep at like 9 or 10.
You're so cute.
Woah I heard that Shirou wasn't as think in UBW as he is in Fate but this is ridiculous. Since when did he know such big words?

Hahah I laugh at how sometimes Shirou is just a wikipedia article.
Who the f*ck knows what sh*t?
Nobody but Shirou.
