I've seen some people who are watching the anime and figured out Archer's identity by episode 2.

 

While on the other hand it took me until

I had a hunch the same second I saw Archer and by the time the 2nd episode was out I had already run by House with a yes/no question if my guess was correct

I haven't figured out exactly who Archer is yet. I do have a few ideas swirling around though.

The anime does make it a little bit more obvious who he is at times and it also puts more emphasis on some scenes that were a lot shorter in the VN.

 

Still guessing the identity of the servants was always a lot of fun in both the anime and VN.

I didn't really know that much about legends myself when I read FSN so I too had no idea who most of the servants were either.
