Why would I care about Luna? People and their sick rumors.
Well yeah, a nuclear weapon is a nuclear weapon.
Nukes are always fun.

Actually I'll consider getting it.
I'm worried what that game will bring out in people...
I'm worried what that game will bring out in people...
It's me.
There's nothing more to bring out.
It's me.
There's nothing more to bring out.
I wasn't talking about you.
It's me.
There's nothing more to bring out.
Except fangirl giggling.
I have a hard time imagining you doing that.
As overdramatic as this sounds, it was life changing for me. It made me think about things quite a bit, and that thinking helped get me off my ass.
That one will always have a special place in my heart.
Nah dude I get you. The themes hit really close to home for me with that one.
I love how it handles how people are all different and all handle their issues in a different way. Everyone was flawed but in a very human way. In terms of the theme of everyone dealing with life in their own way it stands unrivaled for me. Every character I was able to relate with to some degree or another and some dangerously so.
It's the kind of anime where some characters can get on your nerves but you still get them on some level and can't truly hate anyone.
Loved the OST too. This one always gets me feelsy
Eh, that's commendable but not the wiping out an entire species while eating $300 prime rib sort of destruction I'm looking for.
If I build you an actual functioning death star will you be pleased?
Meh, it's only brings out the true colors of people. Never found the appeal in that sort of kidnapping myself.
I just checked their post history, and I noticed that they also apparently tune out some of the dialogue scenes between characters cause there's no real action on the screen.
No surprise. Many Zero only watchers think Fate is just about fighting but SN which focuses far more on the characters and their relationships just rubs them the wrong way and they think they can just ignore the dialog butt hen ****** when important plot stuff happen.
Hell some baka said we should have saw more Kotomine then what was expanded, even though
1: Shirou, Archer and Rin are the main characters in UBW
2:These events MUST happen for the plot to move forward
It's just typical people who think they know what Fate is all about just because they watch Zero and think all Fate will be or should be like that.
I'm worried what that game will bring out in people...
Like that mentally ill kid who's coming back to my school system who is a woman beater?
Yep, already have plans ready.

Oh yeah, definitely. That human element is something that I look for a lot in any mode of entertainment, honestly. I feel like a lot of writers feel the need to fill a template, which I get, but it's nice to see writers go the extra mile and add that layer of understanding. It would've been really easy to make all of the characters in that show into caricatures, but it was handled in a way that was real, which is why I recommend that show to people that aren't even into anime.
Then again, character studies are my favorite type of stories. And good music is always welcome. ; )

High pitch noises aren't very normal coming from me, but I have fangirl giggled for about 2 minutes straight when I found out the Monster Musume anime was going to be a thing.

*Knowledge acquired: even Gravy is capable of fangirlism*

Then Miia started talking with drawn out S's.
Also I buy Volumes 4 and 5 and you don't even drop a like?

I just a read a comment saying that the Rin and Shirou romance came out of nowhere and I'm sitting here like, "what are you, blind?" They couldn't have made it more freaking obvious if they tried.

*writes 3 reviews for three anime and no one gives a f4ck*
You buy a Recon-level sick fak manga and expect us to like it?

Yep, already have plans ready.
What, so you're going to kidnap some poor girl you caught talking to Senpai-chan, and brainwash her into killing this guy? I'm confused.

I ran a film blog for 3 years and no one ever bothered reading that.
Deal with it.
Also considering there was a thread for the series with a decent level of contributions you can stop now.
There are times where I can be teased about what I like. 1:30 in the morning is not one of those times.

I think it's the type of show that will hit really close to home for most types of introverts (even ones who wouldn't normally watch anime) especially with how the characters are realistically handled like you said. Like that one girl that Sato use to like in the story... **** I knew a girl EXACTLY like that to the point where it's a bit scary.
It's definitely one of those shows that can show you what the medium of anime is truly capable of.

Was that the tumblr one? I read a couple ages back when you linked it for the Homura related post.

You are praised now.

No. I did another one on Blogspot. But it's long gone.
The Tumblr one was for my Film Studies classes believe it or not.

Recon-level sick? That means it is completely decent right?
What, so you're going to kidnap some poor girl you caught talking to Senpai-chan, and brainwash her into killing this guy? I'm confused.
That sounds like a good idea.
If you see any axe happy girls running around, blame me for it!

Definitely, as an English major, it's easier for me to tell which writers are trying to tell a story, and which writers are trying to express their experiences. It was nice to see Sato experience things that I've gotten past, and it was nice to see him struggle with things that I'm still trying to get past. It's neat to come across something where you feel like someone just "gets it." Writers that come forward like that and become successful definitely makes the world feel a lot less lonely for people who feel alone. It's a specialized form of entertainment, but thank goodness it exists, lol.
