I don't like how long it takes.
The DBZ wrap-up post took several hours if I remember right.
And the expansion on my Top 10 Anime Characters list took 2 hours.
Otherwise I'd do it more often. Probably would come off as less of a ditz half the time.
But Gif spams are fine too.
So like, what's cool is, unlike the Mid Showa to Millenium era Godzilla movies which is more like a standard laser beam. The Atomic Breath in 2014 is more whispy and breathy, like in the early Showa era. But in particular the original 1954 Godzilla breath.
And this was another good choice by the design department, since, it just looks more natural than a laser beam.
Definitely, as an English major, it's easier for me to tell which writers are trying to tell a story, and which writers are trying to express their experiences. It was nice to see Sato experience things that I've gotten past, and it was nice to see him struggle with things that I'm still trying to get past. It's neat to come across something where you feel like someone just "gets it." Writers that come forward like that and become successful definitely makes the world feel a lot less lonely for people who feel alone. It's a specialized form of entertainment, but thank goodness it exists, lol.
See and that's why it's more then just a story to me. The writers are actually able to convey such personal emotions and experiences to others in a medium we can understand and click with. That's why I get upset when someone goes "they're just stories" but they're so much more then that. Stories have life to them if you can see it and understand the true meaning behind it. I know there's been times I've gone through a story and felt a true sense of connection not only with the characters but the raw emotions behind what drives the story.

I get too caught up in what happens to hate it. I even felt bad for the characters in School Days. School Days. That's how you know I have problems, lol.
