So much hype! One of my favorite arcs of all time is finally going to be animated!
I really can't stand spikey-haired, giant eyed kiddies as protagonists anymore.
Japan....you got issues.

Ehh I never could get into it. I hate time travel lulz. It fixes nothing.
That's kind of what the anime is about.

Oh god no...
This is one anime that should never have been dubbed. Okabe's Japanese VA is a genius.

And this cover too!

And this one as well.

I am sure you know everything about the series now!

The most important part of the book is the cover.

I know. Thats why I had such trouble getting in to it. I watched the first few eps was like MAKE SENSE! Then I dropped it after I watched the last few eps. The ending wasn't bad.
You actually do that? I can understand why someone would read an article like that, but an anime...?...
I just need to bring out that most series get really good by the 7th episode or so and most of the excellent comes out from the mid-through-ending. Steins;Gate wasn't an exception.
@bobobobobobobo
J. Reezy I agree with.
@SomeGethpictures
*THAT'S* the Hunter x Hunter I'd like to see animated. All less saturated-colory and pretty-kiddy as such.

I know it has a spiky haired kid as a main protagonist.
I know it's not a full-on comedy/parody, but a shonen show.
I've seen parts of it, and some parts seemeed ok. But it has battle kiddies. Not cool by me.
That is sufficient.

Are you sure it really is shonen? By your standards you would not view it as a shonen, because of the "mature themes" it deals with. You don't view Death Note as a shonen series based on those reasons.Lotion Soronnar wrote...

Are you really sure they are "kids"? You should really only view them as deeply flawed individuals.
I really think you have no clue what the series is all about.

Death note doesn't have kids running around.
And yes, there are older characters - there practicly always are in these kinds of shows - but 1-2 kid fighters are enough to ruin it for me. Mature themes can only be taken seriously up to a point. Not as much when explored by kids who have no buisness exploring them in the first place.

Haha..wait till you reach episodes 70-80.
It's then the real shockers start.
Friandly advice: don't get too attached to any character. Plot shields seem to be nearly non-existent in this show.
