It's a romantic friendship between the two.
You see those in Shojo series all the time between girls.
Here you see it in a Shonen and it is between boys.
And I like that.

Oh Vroom!
Scratch that. Silver Spoon will be more to your tastes.
Get to that, it's my favourite Slice of Life!

Naturally.
Killua is constantly blushing and going all "Baka!" everytime Gon compliments him.
It's so adorable.
They really compliment eachother too.
They're a great pair that if written by anyone else would have gotten on my nerves but Togashi is one lazy good writer.
I found it to be a little below average until around the halfway point where the story got ridiculous and added elements that made little sense. Was very close to dropping it but decided to see it to the end and hope it could salvage something but.. nah.. the show ended up more similar to a wreck than a coherent story. I wish I could remember my final post about the show better but I recall saying that the one thing the show didn't end up below average on was the visuals in which the eyes are a large part off. It's sadly one of the weakest score shows I've watched but that said I once again mention that it's good that you at least enjoyed it a great deal more than a few other of us did!
I feel like they might have been holding off until season 2 for things to make full sense to us (I always hate that tactic, because if there is no season 2, then people are left with a bunch of incomplete answers). I'm fine without having all the answers and I'm fine with having things be ambiguous, but I do feel that they left too much unanswered.

SpoilerI nearly gave it a 7, but I was impressed withSpoiler
Indeed that plot was introduced and the show even spent time on other parties of the story but that really never lead anywere which makes all the time spent on that feel rather wasted unless a 2nd season pick it up but that would only change the stuff from being wasted time to feel a bit cheap. If there ever is a 2nd season that is..
I liked it but I found that the serious plot line killed it for me.

Same, if the show had remained silly fun then it could get away with so much more but when it turned a bit serious around the halfway point it went downhill

I felt like the other parties were shown off just so that we'd get the idea that there is more going on than we or the main characters know. I'd love an OVA addressing what the other parties are after, it probably would have been better to leave all of those scenes for an OVA or a Movie to be honest. It did sort of mess with the pacing of the anime.
That's why I feel like writers should address every plot thread that they want to address during the first season of a show (unless they are guaranteed multiple seasons). What I'm trying to say is, they shouldn't leave main plot points unaddressed, (subplot points are fine) because it is a great disservice to fans viewers to leave them without a lot of answers to things that are super important to the plot.
It's the same thing with movies leaving things open for a sequel and then a sequel never comes. Tie off the plot and introduce what you want to be the main threat in the second movie or second season (unless you are absolutely guaranteed a sequel/season). Perhaps do some light foreshadowing in the first season and then tie things together with flashbacks or a discussion during a second/later season.

If they are going to show other parties things need to happen and they didn't. If the scope is to remain small on the little group then showing of the larger scale of things isn't relevant and should instead be spent on making things that matter within the small group that we got to follow. If the show is to be serious and a bit larger in scale than something of substance need to happen before the season is over to give form to all the time that was spent and that never happened.
It would've been fine if they hinted that larger things were going to happen in a possible future in case a 2nd season was produced. It would be a point of interest instead of being the mess it is now. Your last sentence is on point that a second season would've many more options to make the shift work
Sorry to this here but I seem not to be able to post in the realted hread and it is sort of important......
Can someone help me with something? I chose Sith MArauder as my specialization. And it seems I will get a pack where the second lightsabor is. I may have accientally destroyed it as it is not in the buy back option of the vendors. what should i do? where can I get a second lightsabor? without one my Characters stands around and just watches.

I don't remember the exact name of it, but there's an Auction House, I think it was called the Galactic Marketplace, go there and I'm sure you can buy another lightsaber fairly cheaply. It's on the space station hub.

Fair enough, you've convinced me that the group shift wasn't done well ![]()
Maybe they couldn't think of a better way to show the group, switched a writer(s), director(s), were trying something different in an attempt to get more views or couldn't think of a way to show that
Yamato sure knows how to deal instant karma with superglue.
