I think Misaki might have some sort of condition to where she likes to pretend or act, that'd be so sad and interesting if she was just following her condition and didn't really like Sato.

That's right, HF is pretty much a route where Shirou, Kirei, Illya, Rider, Sakura and Rin have the biggest role.

Like, I've tried to hold back on my opinion on Berserk. Because I understand you all like it.

But the reason I haven't gone back is because I legitimately can't stand Guts.

I can't, and he might get better 60-80+ chapters from now, I don't think I have the patience to get through that.

I've heard it get's good at the eclypse. Though how far away you are from it I don't know.

No, I honestly don't love quite that many anime, although there are a few I enjoyed, but I wouldn't say 'loved'. Essentially one major reason why I have to think a bit hard on what to place on the bottom five as well.

Considering the fact that Guts has issues with the Apostles and juiced up demons, and those fights push him right to his limits. He's not over powered at all.

Anyway I'd hoped that during the Golden Age arc he'd grow on you.

I like plenty of cool guys.
But I have bad luck with Anime and Manga ones it seems.

 

He's a bit better there. But I know what he ends up as, which is why I'm weary about progressing. Also Casca is a bit irritating.

Her looking at the dog doll and barking is what put my suspicions into play. I also thought back to that notebook and how we haven't actually seen anything written in it. She seems to like to pretend to be a psychologist the way she reads off stuff from it.

My suspicion levels are high, I do like her character though.

It had a pinch of everything that I usually enjoy from ASOAIF to The Witcher and even Tolkien.

 

Yes, Silmarillion and Children of Hurin are a lot darker than The Lord of the Rings.

Berserk is a terrible series to judge by what's on the surface. It would be like watching 1-2 episodes if PMMM and writing it off as a typical magical girl show.
