I would probably go VN > FZ > UBW. Once you've read the VN, you'll have the stories and information covered, so it's nice to have the continuity from FZ to UBW when it comes to watching it.
Ok. I might do that. and Ty for the other info. Everything they do seems very confusing.

They left out step zero, the small woodland creature you need to sacrifice to get the VN to work for you.
