I'm thinking of trying one of these....
1. Plastic Memories
2. Triage X
3. Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon
4. The Eden of Grisaia
Anyone have any experience with them..?

1. I have watched the first 2 episodes of Plastic Memories and right now I'm not really that impressed with the show. It's not bad or anything it just hasn't really impressed me in any way. I'll let the people in this thread know what I think about the anime when I'm done with it.
4. If you have the option to read the visual novel do that instead. Grisaia doesn't just rush events in the anime, it outright changes some things (like somehow turning a bad ending in a good ending).
EDIT: Whoops, I confused The Eden of Grisaia with The fruit of Grisiaia.
Well forget about nr. 4. Point 1 still stands though.
Well I finally did it.
I killed banned Sim.

Watched the new UBW episode.
It was great. As one of those who read the VN, I loved the extra details regarding Caster's old master and Caster's talk with Kirei. Also seeing Rin getting hit by Ilya's traps in full animation made my day. It was one of my favorite moments in the VN, so actually seeing it animated made it even beter.
I liked how they turned Shinji into a bit of comedy relief, considering how he's such a little sh*t. Watching him fall out of the sky was hilarious and so deserving. Looking forward to the Berserker vs Gilgamesh fight ![]()

I bet he's still reading the thread. He'll probably make a new account after a while.

But that will never really be Sim.
Unless I say it is.

I think that's from one of the extra S1 BD scenes.
Not 100% sure though.
Been slowly going through GE999 for the past ... 2 years? 3? Not sure anymore. Just watched the Heavy Meldar 3 parter.
Maetel is damn scary when she's angry. I mean, she was kinda scary before, considering some of the stuff she does in the show. But this gave me shivers.
Best thing to wake up to here, so thank you King for making me smile like an idiot. :') You will not be surprised to know at all that Maetel left a huge impact on me over the years. I must admit I'm glad to hear you're going through the series. While the condensed movie can still be rather enjoyable, it changed certain plotpoints a bit and I personally just prefer the whole pacing of the series and such. I know it's long and requires more of a commitment, but it's definitely the preferred way to go imho.
I've actually been thinking about going through the series again myself, and following it up with Kino's Journey so we can later talk about it. Do you think you'll later follow it up with Maetel's backstory OVA and such?

Oh Rin ![]()
So I saw this today.

lol
Also now that Sim is dead I am having trouble deciding who should be the new Sim.

I'll probably watch the OVAs at some point, but I've also been putting off some other series for a while, so I might not dive into them right away. Death Parade is probably going to come first, along with a few other short ones. Though at the pace at which I'm watching anime these days, it might still take me a good long while before I get there. Like I said, it took me over 2 years to watch 80 episodes of GE999.
With work and the house and all these videogames, I feel like I'm gonna need to get a mechanical body if I want to get through all my backlogs.

Heaven's feel.
Heaven's feel.
Spoiler
That's what happens when you get careless.
Wow. That's messed up. I haven't even seen a bad ending yet and it's this horrific.

I know *exactly* what you mean there.
Death Parade I do definitely need to get back to. I rather enjoyed what I've seen so far but my series commitment has been so flip floppy for a while now. But that's one huge plus of shorter series imho, much easier to digest and make progress on. I guess it makes me laugh a bit cause even when I'm generally enjoying series lately, I still don't feel like there's enough time to switch between say, gaming, watching stuff, juggling stress and reading FSN for example. Oh time management, you're a pain.
Speaking of which, we finished Watamote last night. I most certainly was not expecting to have points in the last four episodes that caused an emotional reaction (both good and bad, relating is fun...) but there it is. I'm definitely hoping they'll make a season 2, but if they don't I plan to sneak on over to the manga as well at some point.
Harlock ever show up in that?Been slowly going through GE999 for the past ... 2 years? 3? Not sure anymore. Just watched the Heavy Meldar 3 parter.
