My opinion of the dub is that it's harmless.

It's not bad or particularly good. It's average.

 

Also the English limited edition is like $20 cheaper than the Japanese one. So that's definitely a bonus.

Does Hunter X Hunter get any better? I don't mean to sound rude, but I thought the first two episodes were super boring. However, I don't want to dismiss what could be a good series just because the first two episodes didn't interest me. Does the series pick up, do the characters get better? Again, I apologize if I sound overly critical of the series.

 

Not watched it myself but going by it being one of the most acclaimed shows created I'd wager things get pretty amazing given enough time

That's what makes him so appealing--you never know what me might pull off. I can assure you that you're gonna love what he accomplishes once you reach Yorknew arc, and he is pretty entertaining in Heaven's Arena.
