Rah ended up suggesting I check out Shiki a little while ago and I ended up watching the first episode last night. It most certainly does a lot of things right even from just one episode, and it's been a long while since I watched a horror series. From the very vague research I did to avoid spoilers, it seems to be a bit of a slow burn so I'll keep that in mind as I go, though it's not really a problem for me cause things slowly unfolding in a story is something I can appreciate.

 

Madoka's VA also being involved made me squeal, as expected and my dear kohai promised it'll be fun meeting her character. :3 (Though of course our definition of fun miiiight be a little different than most...)

That's what makes him so appealing--you never know what me might pull off. I can assure you that you're gonna love what he accomplishes once you reach Yorknew arc, and he is pretty entertaining in Heaven's Arena.

One of my fav parts was during the fourth phase where he was walking around like a dead man then when he found a person he fricken bolted to the guy with an insane smile on his face.

 

Hisoka has just a big boner for Gon.

Just got done with reading the Oregairu LN.

 

I won't read vol. 10.5 right now because it's mostly a fanservice volume for a certain character (and it's not fully translated)

 

Anyway volume 10 was the calm before the storm.

 

Can't wait to see what will happen in Vol 11 and 12 but I'm expecting a lot of answers. Curious to see how Watari will resolve everything that has been set up in Vol. 7-9 since in the afterword of Vol 10 he mentions that we're now at the final stage in the story.

 

I'm also expecting suffering in Vol. 11 since we're nearing the month february in the LN.

EH even if it was not in the VN, I had a feeling that happened. All Nasu is doing is showing some stuff he wished he had put in the VN

Is it just me, or is Gil more 'gentle' in his mannerism? He hasn't been given much screen time so I might be grasping at straws, but from his few interactions and remarks, in addition to being surprisingly tolerate towards Shinji, I can't help but feel something different about his personality. Hardly a substantial change, since he is the same person to the core, but he doesn't strike me similarily as in Zero.

I'm also curios what he has been doing these past 10 years. Whether he has been sitting on his ass or traveling the world. I assume th former, but hope for the latter.

Less to do with budget and more to do with time. Nasu has talked about it alot and how they had to make several changes and cut stuff because of it.

 

Time and budget usually tend to be two sides of the same coin. I will say that some of the cut out stuff i'm aware of sounded incredibly interesting. (Illya route, Join Shinji route)
