Eh, I'm glad no implied or direct rape was involved with UBW, since I find it to be a petty attempt to garner sympathy for a character. Having the Master being completely incompetent when it comes to Caster's identity and having it revolve around it made the scenario more effective.

I liked that they showed Caster's softer side during the flashbacks. We already knew she wasn't really evil, but to actually see it ourselves was nice.
