I don't know a lot about gantz, why was the creators race a big deal?

The whole mystery surrounding Gantz was about who created them, and why people who were mysteriously resurrected after being killed are forced to fight aliens. The race who created Gantz basically gave humanity through the mind of a German woman the schematics to build it which is the black ball & other tech, that is used to fend off the alien invasion they fought previously. Plus they are godlike reality warping, shapeshifting douchemisers.

Oooh I thought you meant creators as in the creators of the show. What you decribed makes more sense lol

God damn. I haven't been seriously watching anime or reading manga for years. Looks like I've been missing out :?

So, has anyone seen Halo: Legends and Batman: Gotham Knight?

I'm curious to know how people felt about these two. I saw some of Halo: Legends and thought it was ok. Haven't seen any of Batman: Gotham Knight, though.

I also own The Animatrix, though I haven't watched it in a while.

I've watched some anime back when I was young, such as DragonBall Z and Yu-Gi-Oh, but I was never too big into it. My brother is the one who is into it a lot. I still like to make fun of the charging up sequences in DragonBall Z and the card game aspect of Yu-Gi-Oh!

On another note, here is a SpongeBob clip with Death Note dialogue:

And on a third note, I now declare this thread to be...

...a Spider-Man thread. Lol. Posted Image

I saw most of this. If I recall correctly this was the one with the a collection of different Batman stories with different art styles. I remember liking it.

Batman: Gotham Knight was a good addition to the nolanverse, and the Animatrix was the only thing beside the first matrix movie that I liked of that series.

Well, that's certainly different compared to the live-action version.

Watched up to episode 6 of Madoka Magica. Probably gonna finish it tomorrow.

Is it even possible for SHAFT to make something that's not brilliant? I mean really.

^ Madoka Magica is pretty good. Not my cup of tea and really lacking in metaphors, poetic, provoking or surprising stuff, but ah well.

Well for me Sailor Moon was the first anime I ever watched, so Magical Girl stuff is what got me into anime. And this is basically to Magical Girl stuff what The Dark Knight is to comic book movies. Hard core as fffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuu.

Based on what I heard about that moive no.

1.11 was ok and 2.22 was better, but all the things I've heard about 3.33 tells me I will not like it.

Every time I watch an Evangelion clip it's like I have PTSD or something from watching that damn show (exaggeration). It has a very disturbing aesthetic.

Then sometimes when I look at a Binding of Isaac clip it's like, "I played THAT?" I dunno, there's probably some kind of psychological phenomenon behind the desensitization as you experience something like that, and then resensitization after you've stopped for a while.
