You obviously don't know who you're talking to. I'm Stormheart, the scrub tier anime fan. I enjoyed Hsotd, Future Diary etc. I'm hopeless, not to say I don't enjoy shows like Gintama, Cowboy Bebop, Jojo, Folly Cooly, FMA: Brotherhood and so on. But seriously, I'm a lost cause lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed Future Diary myself. Great stuff, I understand why some people might not like it though. Let's face it crazy chick is crazy, but I like her.

I have mixed feelings about Future Diary, I mean the main character really made me mad, but I can't tell if that makes the anime good or bad. It's the most morally offensive anime I've ever seen, but that did make it memorable. I don't even think Yuki is a bad character, I just think he's a despicable person. This show kinda reminds me of Deathnote that way. They both star a cowardly, honorless, betraying, murdering male protagonist with a magic diary, a one dimensional yandere girlfriend, and aspirations of godhood. The main reason I kept watching them was because after suffering through all of Yuki and Light's BS, I wanted to see them get what was coming to them. And both series delivered. But then the OVA changed Mirai Nikki's ending. Boooo.

yeah, his tooliness started really showing at the end of the series. there really isn't much middle ground for him.

I'm sure there's something of value to find in that realm of terrible like with many forums. I just don't think it's worth sticking around to find out. The behavior of Fate fans was enough for me.

Haha, I guess it could be worse( including myself in that statement ). I do like good stories and character progression with smart and well written plots, but... I'm also not above watching complete ****. I'm easily amused, so even when it's a terribad series like High School DXD or Cross Ange I can usually find some aspect of the show I enjoy.

I read a review of Cross Ange on myanimelist that claimed Cross Ange is so bad that it could only be interpreted as a hate letter from Sunset to their audience. I couldn't help getting that vibe too when

Whole series kinda felt like an aristocrats joke at that point. That's what made it hilarious though. And I loved Ange, she was great.

I adore T&B, so yes.

 

It's been 6 years so my stance on Eva probably would change if I watched it again (because I absolutely hated it when I first watched it). But I like being a hipster.

 

Aside from the Eva rankings, the shared scores are actually pretty close. I'm surprised.
