You can't help who you are. She's cold because she has no one. At least Taiga has her father who cares for her and Ryuuji. There are moments she's being nice to Taiga and Ryuuji as well, so she's not always bad. It's just that she knows no one will like her if she lets people know who she is. She can't help it. Having to live a life every single day is not fun. I find Ami to be very sympathetic. Ami needs to fake who she is just to have friend while Taiga has people who care for her, but she keeps pushing them away. Those two are very opposite. While I don't hate Taiga, I like Ami's character much better.

The way I see it, everyone makes mistakes, Taiga's father tried to make up for it, it was Taiga herself who refused to open up to him.

I don't think we're ever gonna agree on Ami. I like her character, and I don't think she's being demonized more often than she should.

I pretty much agree with Logan on this. There is only so much sorry can do if a problem repeats. Even if the reason you do something is right or good to you, if its at the expense of others, you will be hated at some point.

Yep I have to agree too. Not to mention that when Taiga's father did come back, it wasn't the first time as Minorin mentioned. He had done the exact same thing to her the previous year. He would only 'reach out' to her when it was convenient for him, dumping her the moment things got too hard. It must have taken a lot for Taiga to let him into her life again, meaning it would have hurt twice as hard when he left again, even when she shrugged it off she was hurting. A good parent wouldn't want their child to experience those kind of feelings, least of all caused by them.

I also wasn't very fond of Ami either, tbh. As stated earlier in the thread, Taiga is on the offense to protect herself because she has trouble dealing with the issues she faces. I also think some of the things she does to Ryuuji as a form of affection in a way, similarly to the way you might ruffle someone's hair. In my opinion it's a particular level of understanding that they share. I don't doubt that perhaps Ami puts on her airhead routine because she has her own issues (confidence etc), but to me it seems more selfish, manipulation rather than sincerely wanting to be liked. Her actual personality I found her to be quite mean. Her words and actions could be rather personal at times, obviously hitting where it hurts. She got better though as her understanding of social circles and relationships grew and I liked her more during those times.

Tobirama's stricken me as being stuck in past as far as clan relationships go, really.

If Tobirama really wanted to be an d!ck to them there were a number of options available besides make them the police. All he did was say that Madara was untrustworthy because of his crazy eyes and crazy actions, which is completely correct.

Now inventing zombies, on the other hand... how does the thought even enter one's head? How does that gel with the non-zombie-obsessed guy we see here? How could it be so easy to invent such a jutsu? How does one go about it at all?

Kabuto flashback was boring and just awful.

This love story between Hashirama and Madara is a bit better, but that is really not saying much.

So pretty much all of the shows I am concurrently watching are done or nearing done, and I'll give my limited review and ranking on each I think, well of the four I'm watching the last of right now.

But first, in Anime news/image I found that matters to me and isn't in anyway big three related.

REallly reeaaaly hoping this is true, fingers crossed.

So far here is a confirmed lineup for the spring/summer, missing from the list is shows with run on's and S2s (or 3's even) Such as Hayate, High School DXD, Senki Zesshou Symphogear 2, and there are countless more rumors THOUGH likely fall/winter releases such as Little Busters, continuation of Fairy Tail, and Sankarea, among a number of others.. I will update as I know more or a full list is formed.



From this list I suspect I will watch, Blood Lad, Fate/ (maybe), Rozen Maiden S3, Monogatari, and tokurei sochi. All the rest minus a couple I will at least watch the first ep for, see whats what.

Will post reviews later for the new aired shows I watched this Season.
