I enjoy it, but I'm a sucker for romance in general.

UBW would simply not work without the romance, same with HF. It's not like Fate where the Saber romance was completely and utterly useless.

Rin X Shirou is my favorite FSN romance because of how well they fit each other and mend each other weaknesses with theit own unique strengths. I also like the fact that Rin is acting more like a romance protagonist than Shirou is in the UBW route. Shirou isn't the one that goes out of his way to ask Rin out on a date, no Rin does that.

She's also the one that wants to help out Shirou with his ideal.

I enjoy good romances. Romances in general I don't bother with, and is usually an aspect I am skeptical whenever it is introduced, since I am often expecting a half assed job that focuses more on the "romantic aspects" rather than shaping the characters individually and why the resonate with each other. Sure it can be cute, but I'm looking for a believable relationship that takes several causes into the narrative. That is what makes it believeable.

UBW thankfully manages this, which I've already explained how in length here before.

I'm going to have to admit that I pretty much share Chewin's views as far as romance in stories go. It's a genre I don't actively search out for multiple reasons, but as long as it doesn't feel tacked on and there's a chance to show the good and the bad, and how it forms a bond between characters, then I'm usually satisfied with it.

Started watching Kyousou Giga last night in an attempt to shorten my list and I'm enjoying it so far. The second episode left me scratching my head, but by episode three and four everything was back on track and I realized what's going on. I like the show, but at a mere ten episodes I'm worried there might not be enough episodes to fully explain everything.

I think they were aware of that limit and made a story appropriate in scope for the amount of time they had. But it's still a touching story with good development for each character and with a setting that weaves Japanese folklore, Buddhist mythos/philosophy and even some Lewis Carroll (or a lot) into a seamless whole.
