There's a character called Riz that protects Joan. She is cool and has long black hair (but she doesn't flip it every few minutes so far) she uses shadows as her magic.

 

The girls learn about Witches coming from Magical Girls almost right away. It's treated as a much more minor point and no one seems to particularly care.

 

Joan is OP as hell, but her magic reserves drain abnormally fast as well so it's a double edged sword.

 

The villain can seemingly control other Magical Girls as well as make them transform into Witches at will.

 

QB or "Cube" is still a little ****.
