Oh no i'm not getting into this **** again Lotion. You demand far more realism in your fiction than I do. This is from someone who's got bitched at for demanding too much realism in fiction before too.
Consistency (if powers can be aquired so fast, then why isn't everyone more powerful?), not realism.
You can use the words versimilitude and believability if you want, but it's not even about that.
It's quite simply, unsatisfactory writing that glorifies the MC far too much and at the same time downplays real effort and dedication, while supposedly sending a message about them.

4th episode of Food Porn brings the hilarity once again with Fumio-san talking about "Take me!" after Soma threw together a mackerel burger.
I still need to watch that one.
Seems like reading the manga makes me a bit lazy with the anime adaptation. This happened with NnT too.

I still need to watch that one.
Seems like reading the manga makes me a bit lazy with the anime adaptation. This happened with NnT too.
I know that feel. I stopped watching NnT for weeks because I already knew what was going to happen anyway. I wouldn't have finished the anime if I didn't take up watching YouTubers' reactions to episodes. Sometimes a later anime adaption just feels more like a recap of events that I'm no longer interested in and my attention diminishes.

haha when Attack on Titan was going I remember one video with six or eight live reaction videos stacked next to each other like a CNN panel, that was just ridiculous... I think live reactions might have waned since then.

Episode 4 was very good indeed.
That episode also made me really like Megumi. It's also nice to see that we're getting a good cast of characters.
Arguably more important than that is these characters actually get development in one way or another as the story moves along. Nobody gets thrown to the wayside in such a way where it would be better if they didn't exist (coughsakuraharunorockleetentenchojiinoetc).

I saw a few of those for this new Fate/Stay season. I don't know who thought splicing together a bunch of reactions into a jumbled mess of audio was a good idea.

Finished the first episode of Hunter X Hunter. Loooove the music to back it up. Makes me wanna pop out the Wagner. Would probably fit well for fans of One Piece.
