I thought Trigun was an 8 or maybe even a 7.

 

I enjoyed it, but I expected it to be more on Cowboy Bebop's level, considering how it got praised as a classic. It suffers from a weak story with really weak villains,

 

Vash The Stampede is hilarious though! Be sure to watch the dub.

Some of the characters were definitely fun, but the main villain was weak and quite forgetable.

Watching Monster and it's good, like really, really, really good. Johan Liebert might be among my favorite villains now along with the Count from Gakutsuou and Kimblee.

Agreed! I have Bebop at a solid 9 but it's not in my top 15. It has been a while since I watched it though so I might give it another look eventually.

Well in here consensus is here that steins gate is good but overrated. I plan on watching it eventually but with the VN getting a Vita release i'm gonna play that first. EVA splits opinions. I've been told why it's awful a lot though. I'll probably watch it if I ever feel like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
