One can always improve one's memory capacity. There are plenty of books that give easy mind practices, which helps shape and give an idea how to improve your memory.
Can't recommend any English ones though, since I've only read mine in Swedish, but I'm sure you can find in your local library or Amazon.

Extra, CCC and F/A are not garbage sure they have some issues but with Extra if you don't like Neros look, use Archer, you can ignore her. CCC, you have Gil as a playable servant and F/A has alot of awesome servants even if you don't like Mo-chan.
The only spin off that is garbage and should not be named is the Illya Prisma, which Nasu seems to think pleases Illya fans 
Grand Order also allows you to use many servants, so you don't need to use Saber or Nero either.

Dear God, I was pretty decent at everything, at least in high school. I'm pretty good at math, even though I hate it abysmally. I managed to make it through Advanced Calculus pretty well.
However, my strength has always been in History and Literature. I partially blame my parents for those though lol. My mother fed me a steady diet of Lord of the Rings ever since I started reading at age 3, and my dad has been teaching World History for ages. I took college level courses in both subjects during high school.
Oh, and I figured out in high school that I'm pretty amazing with languages! I took Spanish for nearly 9 years, from when I was 5 until I was 14. Now I'm on my 6th year of studying Mandarin in college.
