Well uh I haven't actually watched it yet. I'm just going off what the internet says.

i was into cross ange but it finished. got any hidden gems these last few months?

Apparently HLP is actually a massive troll that will kick you in the face so I can give that a pass for the creepy stuff. For FMA depends on if it's brotherhood or not.

I love Heaven's Lost Property... It's one of my favorite anime shows. Besides Gundam, Code Geass and a few others like Gurren Lagann or Freezing. 

 

And I was planning to watch fullmetal to see if I would like it. But screw it. 

 

Well, I read about Cross Ange and am deciding if I should skip to episode six or whatever. I've heard the first episodes were beyond cringe worthy.

The anime series trolled everyone hard, very much with Eternal My Master, leaving everyone on one hell of a cliff hanger and Tomoki and Ikaros never married at the end of Forte. There are other things as well that make HLP a huge troll to many. But regardless despite it's flaws I love it. 

 

And it trolls those who don't or are not reading the manga the hardest.

If you want to see a sheltered female protagonist get her clothes ripped off then given a forced colonoscopy by a heavyhanded woman with a heavy robotic hand, then sure. Its cringeworthy. Although Id watch the first 6 episodes, it sets up why the main protagonist hates everyone.

Fullmental Alchemist Brotherhood is good enough it's on my list even though it breaks my 50 episode rule.

I'm going to be honest. 6 episodes in and I still don't really care for Togame.

 

Shichika on the other hand is quite enjoyable as a MC. He might be my favorite "dense" MC.

If I'm not mistaken, those two movies are just retellings of the anime with bigger production values.

 

Just like with some of the Gintama movies.
