Yup, this is why at first I was not amused by the gender bent, but when you look at it carefully, it makes sense if they are doing it THAT way and if that is how they did it, I have no issues.

Yep that would be pretty cool. Don't know if it's true or not though. Not sure how Red Saber makes sense. Admittedly i'm not entirely familiar with the Roman emperors but it's probably explained when you're playing with her.

Nero was a male, he was not a female in life. However Nero considered his spirit female, thus Nero can be summoned as a male or female. This is also the same guy who can only be a Ruler by normal means but can hack into the system thanks to his own skill that allows him to be a Saber and Rider. Both Nero and Jack are what happens when a container can not be made like Gil(he always has the same container no matter what), theirs is determined by many parameters.

This is sadly true. Lately many of the episodes have been enjoyable but uninteresting sticking to the character per episode way of doing things which is probably the weakest part of the show.

After Death Parade I think I'm gonna watch Persona 4: The Animation, since I heard that it is good as far as adaptation goes (and I am interested to see how Narukami is portrayed in it).

 

Then it is off to Baccano.

I bet the people that wanted a Shichika X Togame ending were probably furious when they saw this. Would have loved to see the reaction to this when it aired.

 

 

Luckily (?) I didn't really came too care for Togame. I only felt bad when she died because of Shichika.

Anyway,

 

Katanagatari is a story about our two main characters, Shichika and Togame. Both set out to find 12 swords.

 

Now if there's one thing I liked a lot about this anime it has to be the MC. Shichika is somewhat of a dense protagonist but unlike most he has this special charm about him that you just learn to love! It also has a very solid OST and it has a sold story that has some twists you wouldn't expect.

 

If there's one thing that might sound somewhat off putting to most people it is how much talking there is in the anime. Katanagatari was made by the same author as the man who wrote the monogatari series and it shows. There is lots and lots of talking.

 

Personally I didn't really mind that though.

 

 

 

And now I'm going to watch my weekly dose of food porn.

Good to see that you enjoyed it, Angel. 

 

And yeah, didn't particularly care about Togame either. For a show that deals with loss and does add a glimpse of sympathy for its characters, I hardly ever felt invested in any of its characters. But its personal preference.

 

Togame is basically a stereotypical tsundere who you either want to snuggle to death or Baptisa Bomb her to the ground. I mostly fell to the latter, though not like I hated her or anything.

Souma is once again very entertaining to watch even if this episode had less outrageous stuff than the last but that's not a bad thing if every episode manage to stick out like they've so far.

Anime Yu is pretty awesome and rather funny, absolutely the highlight of an otherwise so-so quality show
