Depends if the humor is to your liking. I myself wouldn't give points for its humor, but there are few exceptions. This one in particular gave me a good chuckle:

I'd say that it has its ups and downs when it comes to humor in the anime.

Persona 4 The Animation is definitely not a good adaptation. It's decent, but not really good... decent, as in.. the protagonist being pretty okay characterized, Shoji Meguro music is there, but the other characters, however, loses any depth they had in the game (especially Kanji), and it's rather wonky pacing.
