Both anime started off quite good though. The fact those deteriorated into smush is because the mangaka crashed the source material.

Don't know about Bones, but Sword of the Stranger is a single movie.
Overall excellent animation, though the fighting really takes the cake of it all. The story itself is simplistic, yet philosophical and not just a plot excuse for action, overall a great anime in content and brilliant in delivery.

Also, Rarou's seiyu speaking Mandarin in european baritone with slight japanese accent is just eargasm.

Bwahaha, Ao no Exorcist is hilarious so far. Lots of fun, but the preview for episode ten took the cake: "Cat Sith" totally made me lose my ****.

Guh ... and now that I did saw the episode I am wiping the last tears away. Why does it always have to be suffering cats. Why not a pig, a horse or maybe a skunk. Noooo, it's always cats that have the most heartwrenching tragedy stories to them.

The first episode of Suisei no Gargantia came out last week and I just got around to watching it. It was really good! I was pleasantly surprised, tbh. The animation is beautiful and the concept (from what I've seen in the first ep) is really interesting. I'm already looking forward to the next episode.
Synopsis:
"The story begins in the distant future in the far reaches of the galaxy. The Human Galactic Alliance has been constantly fighting for its survival against a grotesque race of beings called "Hidiaazu." During an intense battle, the young lieutenant Redo and his humanoid mobile weapon Chamber are swallowed up into a distortion of time and space. Waking from his artificially induced hibernation, Redo realizes that he has arrived on Earth, the planet on the lost frontier. On this planet that was completely flooded by the seas, people live in fleets of giant ships, salvaging relics from the seas' depths in order to survive. I think Aku no Hana is just getting a bad rap. Just wait, it's all metaphor and symbolism. In a few weeks there will be an episode that will make you go "HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" because of how brilliantly it ties together the points that we assumed were just nothing because we're nowhere near as intelligent as the geniuses that constructed this modern masterpiece.
