Shinsekai Yori is one of those anime I wished I actually watched back when it aired  .

 

The discussions must have been fun.

 

I imagine they were very interesting. I had a ton of fun just discussing it with Isi and Ani when I watched the show and if there had been more people around that had watched it I'm certain some very enlightening discussions would've taken place

Sometimes I forget that the group didn't much see all my SSY gushing cause at that point I pretty much filtered it all straight to Isi since it was him that pushed it at me. I must admit it being so well received among the group makes me very happy cause it truly is a gem of a series.

Honestly I'm trying to hold off on saying anything at all about it until I've finished it, but yes, I say it wouldn't be a stretch at all to make this my second favorite anime.

 

And the less people know going in here the better experience you will get.

 

Just the uhhh...  episode 7 stuff is going to make it hard to watch with other people around.

I do agree that this thread tends to talk alot about UBW, but thats really because we all enjoy it so much and because its an ongoing anime.

 

However if anybody ever brings up another anime topic then it always gets discussed as well. Its not like we favor UBW over everything else.

Fate/Stay Night's Archer identity spoiler, don't even quote me if you don't know.

It's Shirou, right? He has dreams of swords, Archer seemingly has unlimited amounts of swords at his disposal during his fight with Lancer in the prologue. He's the protagonist in this one so it isn't too far off to say he could become a heroic spirit.

 

Plus to me they just kinda look similar.
