Shinsekai Yori is one of those anime I wished I actually watched back when it aired  .

 

The discussions must have been fun.

I don't know how they could take the tension.

I do agree that this thread tends to talk alot about UBW, but thats really because we all enjoy it so much and because its an ongoing anime.

 

However if anybody ever brings up another anime topic then it always gets discussed as well. Its not like we favor UBW over everything else.

 

Exactly, this thread has seen a lot of SSY discussion among many other things. We had Katanagatari get mentioned quite a few times. UBW may be dominant but it shouldn't be a surprise when a large franchise get out new episodes and more people also discover it.

It's Shirou, right? He has dreams of swords, Archer seemingly has unlimited amounts of swords at his disposal during his fight with Lancer in the prologue. He's the protagonist in this one so it isn't too far off to say he could become a heroic spirit.

 

Plus to me they just kinda look similar.

 

Am I wrong?

Then scroll passed it. People talk about animes I've never seen or cared about all the time here and it has never bothered me. No ones forcing you to read through every post. If you see a Fate post you can easily just keep scrolling. Not that I see you particularly talk about much here yourself.

Sometimes certain shows become fan favorites in this thread. Kill La Kill was the same show. Again, just scroll passed it. I didn't start watching UBW until season 2 was about to air so I didn't participate or read what a lot of people said about season 1 at all even when it was the most discussed thing in the thread back then as well.
