Just noticed this.
Good, I was kinda worried you'd breeze through it and beat me to the finish. I'm not one for watch binging.
Only reason I haven't is because it hasn't hooked me like others have and I've got other things going on.

Don't worry, if prince binges it, the whole forum will know.
As is natural of this forum. ![]()

SSY is the kind of story that builds things up. It's not one that will hook most people that quickly.

Yeah I figured. I'll commit to it though.

I don't know, I do tend to get hooked on things like this rather quickly, it's nice.
It's like I know when something great is coming my way.
I was at the gym the other day watching McCalla vs Smith and I was wondering if that was Mayweather vs Pacquiao.
That's the extent of my boxing knowledge.
Mayweather won, basically by a combination of running and hugging

With me, I need to have something that makes me want to keep coming back. Shin Sekai Yori has the whole telekinesis thing for me now, so I'm for it.

Yeah, I got hooked on it pretty quickly myself, but I can see why this story wouldn't grab as many people early on as some other good ones might.
For me it's the ending that turned this from a "this is a good show" to a "Holy ****** **** this is amazing. People need to see this!" kind of show

What I found interesting early on personally is the focus on the world and their society itself over that of their powers. Most stories like SSY would put much more of a focus on the powers but instead this story tries to craft an actual world that runs with the cantus users and the more you discover about the world the more interesting things become.
In SSY knowledge is greater then power/cantus is

Not sure if you guys will dig the music but this AMV is dope. Came across this on the IGN boards. That second part when the production switches up is heavenly.
Ok, I'm done Watamote. I really enjoyed it.
The premise of the OVA was really funny.
I am still on my first episode. I have a feeling I might want to watch some more My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU after it though.
Oh you should also continue watching SNAFU.
It's only getting better in S2.

Hey! That reminds me of a certain fight in DA2! ![]()
I was hoping for this tbh.

Well I'm in my early to mid 20s, I kinda don't want to specify. Rah might think I'm a prehistoric creature or something.
Yeah, I got that kinda mindset during school with repeatedly getting bad grades because of not doing homework(teachers were right though, I could easily have done it and graduated with a higher than 4 GPA). I'll listen to people's reasons for judging my behavior, I just tend not to give a damn.
Not the best way to learn that behavior I admit.
Pretty sure you might just be covered by human history but it's hard to tell.
Non Non Biyori is probably the most simple pleasant anime I can think of.
Oh, Tonari no Seki-kun! I need to get more people to watch that.
Yes! Non Non Biyori is an amazing feel better show so absolutely worth a watch regardless of mood but even more so if the mood just is a bit blergh.

I'm more or less the same. It was the world, the society and the lure that had some kind of new hint hanging off it that I just had to learn.
Just for funsies;
This is DEEN FSN UBW with movie budget:
This is Ufotable FSN UBW with television budget:
And there's even more subtle hints towards Archer's identity in UBW ep 17
I can't believe there are people saying the deen version is better.
Just for funsies;
last panel on bottom right, looks like he pood himself. it looks wet too.
btw anyone hear about how nintendo is raiding hentai sites to coyright-takedownPokemon hentai tags off the websites?
Put that picture quote in spoiler tags please.

Why did you get rid of my spoiler tags when you quoted me
?
And yes, put that in spoiler tags. There are still some people here that are reading the VN or haven't watched the anime.

And here I thought I was the only person in the thread that liked Silver Spoon. Season two is good, but it focuses on other stuff.
I finished Silver Spoon thanks to Puddi and CrunchyRoll. It was lots of fun and it taught me things about farming. Learning things in a fun way is always great! The characters were all unique and distinct in comparison to one another, the art style was good when it needed to be (animals) and was downright goofy when it could get away with it (the humans), the music was great and the plot was alright. There wasn't much character development, but I'm going to hold off until Season 2 and reserve judgement on that since Season 1 only took place over 6 months. The jokes were always funny and the show managed to take me by surprise more than once which is always great. I'd recommend watching Silver Spoon and I thank Mr. No Touch for the recommendation. I'm looking forward to Season 2. 9 out of 10!

Bro love Silver Spoon a great deal aswell. I'll be watching it at some point aswell, perhaps at some point in the coming weeks. Depends on what kind of viewing mood I'm in

Anyway, might watch some more Shin Sekai Yori today.
