I am such an effing idiot. Now I realize why I like Hunter x Hunter so much. The writer, Togashi, also wrote Yu Yu Hakusho, which is my number 1 anime of all time.

 

 

Now, if that's not a recommendation to watch YYH, Chewin, I don't know what is!

Bruh... You too!? You're alright. I actually just found that out myself and plan on giving HxH a watch soon. The only show I've cared to get the complete series on DVD. Best $90 something dollars spent ever.

The parts I saw on Toonami were pretty cool. It didn't capture me enough to watch it all though.

But then, Bebop didn't either.

Kids are dumb.

I did like Outlaw Star though and I stand by that.

My rocky response aside, should I at least give the Berserk movies a try?

They were like $20 each at one HMV.

I remember the response to those being that they aren't bad themselves, but they don't represent the series all that well.

Is Yu Yu Hakusho good?

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Hell yeah. I think it has a great cast of characters with some cool backstories. It tends to sag a bit after the second arc but it never drags down too much, in my opinion. Has some nice comedic moments as well. And watch the dub. Justin Cook was top notch as Yusuke. Shame he never showed up in a main role again. As far as I know.

Sword of the Stranger and the Gintama movies are pretty kickass.

 

And hell, Akira is pretty decent too.

 

Of course Rebellion Story and T&B Rising go without saying.

Figmas are lovely.

The Link and Mikasa I have are some of the best figures I have picked up in my time collecting.

Not sure the distribution is any different than good anime in general.

GitS movies are also great.

Rebellion.

Anything Ghibli.

I plan to watch Cencoroll sometime, but I dunno about that one.

I heard bad things about the movies but I haven't seen them myself. Specifically the dubs of one of them though. It's supposedly atrocious, not being the anime series cast. No idea of the quality otherwise.

Yep, that's why I asked, in case the first one was good.

Sage clarifies the problems with the 2nd ones dub.

Nice video. Somebody else who pointed out Toonami's format. Toonami is wack for sticking to the same show formula after its resurrection. Especially if it's the same shows it aired before it got cancelled (Naruto, One Piece, Inuyasha, Bebop).

Got 3 episodes of Yu Yu Hakusho done at least.

Enjoyed it so far.

 

But KissAnime either kept crashing my browser, or trying to redirect me to Adult Friend Finder (Which meant I had to do a lovely scan for Malware/Spyware that took 40 minutes) So they can go to hell.
