honestly, good anime movies are kind of a rarity, aren't they? 

 

Depends, I can easily name over a dozen good movies. A bit harder to mention excellent ones but there are a couple and I've yet to watch all of Ghibli's movies.

I can count the excellent anime movies that I've watched on my hand.

 

The fifth Kara No Kyoukai movie, the Haruhi movie, Madoka Rebellion movie and the Gintama Shinyaku Benizakura movie come to mind.
