None of the tracks ever stuck with me outside of the OP and ED that I heard every episode, the one you link. I got only the faintest of memories ever hearing it. 

 

About being less scary.. that happened after the first arc with me. The show was barely scary in that first arc and after it I can't say I was even close to being scared for more than half a second. So I ended up appreciating the mystery and the thriller aspects of the show since the horror completely vanished so I got no issue at all with Shion doing what she did, if anything it strengthen the psychological horrors the characters must face which the show really need to nail 

You really think so? I felt that the high water mark for the psychological horror in that show was the part when Keichii learned that he *may not* have killed Satoko's uncle after all, and spends the rest of the arc stumbling around the other characters in a craze.

Yupp I really do, and the part you mention is another good one since the show do have more than one scene.

Actually, now that I think of it, maybe the most frightening part of that show was when Rena's friends lectured her on the importance of trusting her friends before helping her dispose of Rina's body. It was like watching an episode of MLP or something. But with murder.
