So I just found out that I accidentally skipped over the PSG episode that introduced the demon sisters. Whoops.

So far so good - the second episode was very eye-opening - one scene in particular, I wasn't sure whether to be disturbed or amazed. Maybe both? The ending music from that one reminds me a bit of the Secret of Mana days. Feels aplenty.Ooh another person watching Mushishi. The show is awesome.
Strange Stories. In a good way, natürlich.

Oh come on, if one still hasn't figured out Archer's identity at this point then you deserve to be spoiled.

The first season of Mushi-Shi ended up becoming one of my favorites. It only really hooked me from the 4th episode onward though. I liked the first 3 episodes well enough, but I think some of the latter episodes are much more interesting. Curious to see how your opinion of the show will evolve as you go through it.
The second season, Mushi-Shi Zoku Shou, is pretty great too, but not quite as much as the first one.

I wonder if my crappy old 2006 gateway can play the Yandere simulator? It's able to play Unreal Tournament smoothly.
Perhaps.

UFOTABLE was as subtle as an elephant in a room of china.
Really hate that they did that.
I still see people on YouTube who haven't put 2+2 together...

Pretty much, though I don't have issues with it.
I mean, the characters know who Archer is, and the viewer knows who he is. It would have been stupid if the characters had gone "say wuuut!?"

I'm starting to get the feeling that Lotion and Rah may be romantically involved and are just putting up a facade to cover it up. There's no way two people could be that emotionally invested on the internet without something happening behind doors ...

They weren't subtle. That's the problem.
When you give clues you either throw in Red Herrings too or make the clues subtle (no Trace On)
But it is a good explanation. I'm sorry it doesn't live up to your unrealistically high standards for explanations.
Son, are you calling "a wizzard did it" a good explanation?
Really?
Especially since modern wizards don't hold a candle to the old ones (like the fabulous Robe-chan), have limited power, don't understand the Grail, and yet still create something omnipotent.
2+2= 1000

Yes. They had no idea what the **** they were doing and fucked it up. Massively. Hell according to the wiki the main goal for some characters is trying the thing.

I'm starting to think you have a folder to broken picture links. No one can be that consistent on accident.
I'm seeing the image. Blocked in the US? Filtered?

Again, how can a non-omnipotent, create an omnipotent?
A blanket "explanation" that just handwaves everything and can be used for EVERYTHING, no matter how stupid...that is just lazy. But is a good explanation to you?
No words....just...no words....

Close the webpapge where you got the image from, don't have any other webpages open that have the image linked, clear webbrowser cache, then look at your linked image again. If it isn't showing, the link was wrong or the file can't be hotlinked and it was merely your browser cache that let you see it, if it still shows up for you, then the picture is blocked otherwise and it's not your fault.

So you want an explanation for how magic works or?
Since I don't see it being any different from any other fantasy wherein people play with magic and accidently creates something bad. Saying that non-omnipotent magic can't create omnipotent magic is rather silly, since it is magic you know.

While I haven't caught up on the last few pages yet, and haven't seen much of the anime outside of what House has shown me (mostly the fights cause
), I'm going to have to agree that even just in the VN, Archer's identity was easy to see coming before the reveal. I'm not sure how Ufotable did it (I will watch it eventually) but a few of the things that tipped me off:
Still a wonderful reveal and I did very much enjoy it. I know there are subtle things that snuck past me elsewhere but this was one point I rather enjoyed watching play out. If my very vague knowledge of the anime is correct, they haven't hit the last big point yet
Regarding HF:
I'm on evening 4 as of typing this. Unfortunately a migraine prevented me from making as much progress as I would have liked yesterday. I'm steadily finding out through House the reasons I'm glad I held off on watching Zero, so that I can have the information click into my head first
