Different words in Japanese can have completely different meanings depending on what symbols are used to write them, and I don't think the thing you are thinking of existed even as a pile of rust in his time.
Still tho. Subaru.

I can't help worrying that for this reason, about 40% of Bakemonogatari went over my head.

I don't want to hear this coming from the man with an avatar of a girl with the transliteral name of Mule.
Hey. Her name meaning that makes sense based on why she was made.
All done with the second season of Higurashi and it's better than the first season due to a couple of reasons like having way less animation errors, better story arcs that are answers to the questions the first season asked. The focus being put a lot on certain characters that were mostly able to deliver a strong performance with the writing made for them. The show got a few weak episodes but they are not many and mostly get overshadowed by a good show that went on to improve as things went by.

Nipaa~
I started watching Grenadier. It's an older anime it seems. I am not sure what to make of it.

I really liked the part when Casey & Friends used the power of friendship to ruin that one paramilitary's day, Battle of Endor style.
I thought the first season was better, but really, I'm usually to busy reading the subtitles to catch the animation errors. Maybe things would have been different if I had watched the dub. I've never seen "Higurashi Kira," but "Higurashi Rei" had a few good episodes. "Higurashi Nekogoroshi-hen" was okay, but "Outbreak?" Nah, Outbreak was just trash.
Puns in Japanese are hard.
Oh boy yes.
After I am done with this, I need another Gun show. Any suggestions beside, Jormungand, Golgo 13, BL, and Trigun?
Absolute duo might be up your alley Fumbs.
Alright, I'll give it a try. ty

You watched Gunslinger Girl already?

No, but I have been wanting to watch it.

Well... you could watch Burst Angel. Its premise is that open carry gets legalized in Japan and everything goes to Sam Hill. It's not very good, but everyone is useful in it, so you'll probably like it.

isnt gunslinger girl that R-rated Manga about an assassin organization that uses children as weapons/lovers? Maybe not the anime but I hear the manga had the main girl character in love with her ADULT trainer.

Is about right. And in love is a very romantic way of looking at the relationship when Stockholm syndrome is far more fitting.
Fell across this yesterday.. just reminded me Fate/Zero had it's moments.

It isn't somewhat like Boku No Pico when it comes to relationships right?
