So magic, which in the show clearly has limitations and rules/laws (such as projection), shouldn't have consistency or follow established rules....because?

How can ANYONE consider "it's magic" to be a good explanation is beyond me, when it can be used to justify ANYTHNIG. Literally anything. A blanket shoddy tool that can be used by even the biggest talentless hacks without thought is great according to you.

I know how magic works in the fate/ universe works. Creating a broken grail is possible. It works the same way as projecting a noble phantasm. Now I know Deen's fate is really bad so maybe it skimped on the explanations but such a thing is possible. It even get's explained how it works in UBW too unless Ufotable skimped on the explanations as well. If you desperately need to know this stuff go read the VN.

Just got done watching Oregairu ep 7 and damn Feel really knows how to adapt their stuff. That last scene was really well done.

You want to know something lotion? No grail war has been created by magicians, every single one has been created by a group powerful magus.So yeah, this is consistent with what is shown and known.

 

The only known time a magician even supervised it was the the creation of the Fuyuki cup, and he didn't even do anything. He was just there to supervise one of his students.

I was going to type stuff up regarding the potential for less than stellar adaptations potentially being the issue here but my coffee wasn't strong enough for arguments so I'll just leave it where Liam did and mention that reading the VN is a good option since these things do get explained. I know it shouldn't be the case but there's always a risk when it comes to translating something from one medium to another. :S That's pretty much why I know I get wiggly and worried when books I love get made into movies and such, cause something that works well in one medium runs the risk of not making the adaption well (hi Berserk), especially considering when something like FSN is so monologue heavy and from what I've seen of both adaptations (Fate and UBW, haven't looked at Zero yet), the monologues are often overlooked. I mean it might still fail the "my realism!!!" check but the source material explains it.

Oh this shadow fascinates me so. Had one dead end originally cause I missed the Sakura affection check by 2 points by trying to be polite () and let Taiga check on Sakura the night of the first fever. Fixed that though since I have like 3525124 saves going. I'm kind of expecting that if any other affection checks show up, I might be fucked since I've been focusing my energy on both Sakura and Illya (have to be a good onii-chan :') ).

 

I might jump back and check the temple for bad ends around the showdown with Zouken since I jumped right into trying to use the command spell. True Assassin is amazing and Saber became a midnight snack for Shadow. Also snake waifu is back so all is right in the world.

 

I love the fact that all of my mental variables have been thrown completely out of whack because of someone's involvement. Leaving that nice and vague for obvious reasons.

The Force didn't need to be conformed into another equation of science, as the other films already established it as this life force thst brings life and balance to the Galaxy. Reveled in mystical elements inspired by that of eastern culture, religion and folklore.


The important thing is that it makes sense within the confined rules of said narrative's universe -- Like say Stein's Gate, which I'm still writing something on

Although given Star Wars established nature as that of "sci-fi-fantasy" it's already being obtuse with that of things like "hyperdrives" and how they make ships fly at the speed of light.
Because that's not the story it wants to tell -- It does not want to talk about humanity finding it's place among the stars, but rather more of an epic fantasy story, where heroic rebels rage war against a tyrrannical empire.

Yup, like if these guys made a proper grail war in Strange Fake, Lotion would have a point. However, they failed hard. Really hard. So I don't see the issue.
