Eh, Deen > Zero > UBW have done a great job in my enjoyement of the Fate franchise for me. With the first serving as an introduction, second as an entertaning show on itself and UBW as a fitting sequel (has offered enough revelation to satisfy me). Would I have the choice, I'd do the same route again.
I'm talking more about stuff that is revealed in HF that was meant to shatter what you thought you knew in the VN, stuff that Zero spoils in the first episode.
I got into VNs though the DEEN Fate - for all it's flaws, it did enough to convince me that Type Moon's stuff was worth checking out. My first non-TM VN was Saya no Uta....

Definitely curious to hear what you think about Muv Luv once the time comes, Angel. I've kind of had it on my "read eventually" list after seeing it mentioned a lot how good Muv Luv Alternative is but my VN backlog is probably just as big as my anime/manga one. Whoops.

I'm aware of that, but it's hardly an aspect that I would prioritize over the enjoyment that I received with experiencing Zero first. I enjoy the anime experience more than the VN, so I don't mind the majority of HF being spoiled for me. Zero and UBW once it is done has satisfied my enjoyment. HF is just an added plus.

I've also wanted to get to Muv Luv Alternative myself but I kept hearing that Alternative is really dark and I didn't really find the right moment to start a VN like that I guess. Still people keep saying it's one of the best translated VN's so I really should get to it.
When I'm done with it I'll be sure to give my opinion on it.

As good as Muv-Luv Alternative is, I'm not convinced it was worth sitting through the crap that is Extra. Admittedly, I'm pretty sure it was intentionally crap, but that doesn't make it any more fun to read. And yet, if you don't go through Extra and Unlimited (which is OK but not amazing), Alternative makes little sense....

Angelic Loli will turn his mind to steel and read Extra and Unlimited.

Thank you for the head's up there then. @___@ I hadn't fully researched how much of the series there is, so my initial plan had just been eventually tackling Muv Luv and Alternative. Seems it'll be a broader case of working through Fate to get to UBW and HF. 
Though admittedly there are parts of Fate I rather enjoyed, I'm just being a pain since it's becoming clear now why it's often called the weakest of the routes.

New Naruto chapter came out pretty quick. I heard Golden Week messed up the timing on the last one so apparently it's a weekly release. Not sure how to feel about Chocho outside of "is this chick really that stupid?" Good to finally see a little bit of combat from the new generation.

Started also with Katawa Shoujo and after like a year of nothing I picked up Grisaia and did the UBW route in the VN. Hopefully will be able to do the HF route soon and after that Majikoi

I didn't think Unlimited was that bad, definitely a step up from Extra. But yeah, there's a massive leap to Alternative.
