The EMIYA remix from Kaleid is pretty great, I'll give it that. But that's also mostly all I know about the series as a whole since I haven't looked much into it. ![]()

The Specials about Sella are sublime tho.
10/10.
Mostly because she's not 10.
>Not choosing Sella and Liz and going for the threesome route
Shirou, why?
Why does Shirou anything?
He lives to suffer. And make dumb decisions.
I don't think that's how dresses work....

Hunter X Hunter (possibly also Yu Yu Hakusho) aren't really high on fan service so much, but they're high on shoneny juice which I personally think is a different problem.
Getting real close to blasphemy right now...
Yu Yu Hakusho doesn't have problems because it's Yu Yu Hakusho.

Eh have to take Shirou's side here. Far far far too embarrassing.
There's a part 2 to the post now...

Does it have an obnoxiously long tournament arc?
DAMN YOU MR EDITOR!
DAMN YOU MR EDITOR!
I forgot what chapter that scene was from!
Well whatever it's there now.

The way her wings twitch is important.
Besides, I needed an excuse to post an Ikaros gif.

Shut up, Meg.
27 episodes isn't long at all.
Well whatever it's there now.
What can I say? Sella's hot.
The Einzberns are horrible people, but they know how to make some A-Rank Hotties.

*sigh*

I know.
Senses went off, Miia was posted, wasn't she?
Yep.

I know I promised to deliver my impressions on Psycho Pass today, but it is already 2 pages long and I'm not even finished so I'm gonna postpone it until tomorrow since I'm kinda busy with something else.
*sneaks away to play The Witcher 3*
The less we see of Shirou, the better.
He is a EX+ rank idiot
Spoiler
Here is a newsflash to you; the majority of the Fate casts are individuals that display a radical view on their respective ideological beliefs while simultaneously displaying a mentality that is eccentric and at times obscure. Truly, quite a small cast are actually people that one could consider "healthy", which is quite understandable considering how many of the characters have suffered tragedies and events that would have a serious impact on their mental capabilities, which goes both towards humans and servants alike.
While the Fate franchise delves into a variety of things, a common theme is telling a story about people being "chained down" through various of ways. Be it by the labels of society, ideals, dreams, loved ones, etc. Many characters have something that their strive to achieve, whether it is the Grail itself or something more. Shirou is someone who at the start doesn't know exactly what he wants. He has a superficial view on being a hero, and who actively gets challenged along the way of the story through various ways. Being inexperienced in life, he harbors a very dichotomous view on the world, wherein people are easily distributed into either being "good" or "bad". His scene with Caster on the bridge displayed what that ideology gave him and ended horribly, which he reflects upon in Ep 13. It is a simple belief that he harbors, but to him that is what he thinks (and possible the only thing) he sees is able to bring him fulfillment in life.
However, he isn't an idiot for it. He is aware of what his ideals means and not having regrets is a lose belief system (he states this himself in Ep 13). It is an admirable ethical view that he holds, but as the show tries to tell with him (and many other characters) is what happens when you harbor such stark views without room for other frameworks to fit into their belief system (and Shirou, as can be seen in Ep 16 is mentally unstable). Kiritsugu, Kayneth, Gilgamesh, Saber, Caster, Soiuchiro, Archer and more have their own views on the world and have their own backgrounds that shaped them into who they are.
If we truly want to have such a simple take on the characters, they are all idiots. I certainly don't agree with any of the characters mindsets, considering how extreme each of the character's views are, but I can see their POV and why they hold them, which is why I appreciate the medium and the story that Fate tries to tell. I could appreciate more room for some additional interests and discussions from individuals who aren't as extreme with their views, but what the story tries to tell still works within the framework of the narrative, and is why I can appreciate it.
Yup, the grail is NOT wishing device. It's a sham, simply to lure people like Kiri to fight in it. This is why Rin, Illya and Shirou by default are already better then pretty much every past master. They don't believe the grails bs and they suspect something big.
I'm stating what the Fate wiki sez in short.
I didn't go into details about how the Grail was made or it's "corruption" as it gets even crappier the deeper you go.
Here is a newsflash to you; the majority of the Fate casts are kind of cute
Translated the Chewin speak for us plebs!! Thank you I'll be taking donations afterwards.

Dat punch!
I'm glad that Nakaba didn't reduce King into a sobbing mess.
Well, I know what I'm 'bout to read. Can Gowther be reduced to a sobbing mess instead? That'd be great for a doll.

Ok then i'm going to quote the wiki now. General fate/ spoilers ahoy
It's literally in the second damn paragraph. Are you seriously telling me you are too lazy to read that far?
