Basically everyone loved it. Quiet a few of us here watched it.
Chewin had some thoughts to share (as he always does) on page twothousandsomething, which pretty much summed our feelings on the show. Basically a 10/10

It's 5th in my top ten list and to be honest, there's been a void in me since I finished. Aside from Monster there hasn't been that many shows out there that have successfully filled it.
I want to show it to my mum so I'll be re watching again.
Recently the only anime of note I can think of was Kids on the Slope.
Oh and Shirobako which did something I've very impressed with and that is managing such a huge cast efficiently in such a short time. That's a Legend of the Galactic Heroes tier achievement there.
I'll talk about the anime I've watched/been watching since my disappearance later.
As for manga, I'm begging everyone here to read 20th Century Boys by Naoki Urusawa. It's really one of the best reads of my life, and this includes normal literature.
Yeah that Shirobako managed to have that huge cast and make them all feel important to certain degree is really very impressive. Made the whole being an anime studio that much more real and lended the show a lot of credit in what it tried to emulate.
