So picked up Serial Experiments Lain, this should be interesting and it's been a while since I watched a show that's somewhat like this
Good choice! I tend to dislike horror shows, but in Lain's case I actually ended up really enjoying the horror elements present in it. Which makes Serial Experiments Lain an extremely rare oddity for me. It helps that it's not strictly an horror show too. It just uses some good horror techniques to make the show more interesting.
