I enjoyed the new episode of Attack on Titan, though that's mainly because I know where the plot is going. Things are going to get reaaaaly interesting, but I think these next few episodes are either going to hook people or lose people.Well, as long as they stick as closely to the manga as they have been.

I finally finished Legend of Galactic Heroes. It is the best thing on Earth I've seen. It has many memorable characters (heroes and geniuses) from the Reich, the Alliance and Fezzan and its amount of interesting quotes, tactics and plots was beyond my expectation. In personal and emotional level it had many great moments and I almost cried for the death of 4 characters... I rate it 9.8/10. If the Earth Sect was more clever I would give the series absolute 10.
I'm going to watch Berserk in the next two weeks. I'll probably download Dragon Ball Z due to many VAs I like are there too.
My most favorite Japanese VA till now:

Started a few new series last night, figured you guys might want to know about them.
First up is a series called Aoi Sekai no Chushin de. This series seems pretty funny, and I'm not sure if it takes itself seriously or not yet. There's these two armys fighting each other, the Segua and Ninteldo...which caught my attention, especially because the Segua empire is known for having BLUE eyes. It could just merely be coincidence that the two empire names are so close to video game company names though. Anyways, most of the women in the show are wearing some pretty skimpy clothing or they really get off on fighting. We're mainly following the story of Gear it seems, and he is a very talented warrior driven by a tragic event...which you'll find out about in the first minutes of the first episode.
Next up is a series called Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru, which is an interesting take on the typical romance anime. The two main characters, Hachiman and Yukino, aren't like the typical people in this sort of situation. Usually either the dude or the girl are super nice and popular and they drag the unpopular but savable character out of their unpopular muck. These two are somewhat unpopular but known well because Yukino is a tsundere, and Hachiman is just kind of a jerk in general. Both worry about people's ulterior motives, and that's mainly why they don't make friends easily. Their part of a club that helps people with requests, think Medaka Box, just a little bit less over the top. They are brought together when a teacher becomes fed up with Hachiman's antisocial behavior after reading an essay about his high school experience. She's the typical female anime character who will resort to violence if you annoy her. Still one of the best characters so far though. Either way, it's a pretty cliche setup, but the series feels fresh for whatever reason.

I could see a live action AOT movie being good. Then again, with the right budget and staff anything could be good. Unfortunatly anime movies usually aren't given such nice things...

That's a really good show. Hiki is an awesome main character and the others are great too. Like the whole tone as well. It's nice to have something to break up the high velocity stuff like Titan and Gargantia (even though that one is moving at a pretty comfortable pace).
@bmw: any particular reason? Bluray is better quality video obviously, but FFFansubs is doing a really good job on this one translation wise.

Not so sure now after the whole Hero gets Eaten thing, that sparked a bit of outrage. I know what happens next but some folks that don't keep up with the Manga don't.

You might dig Black Lagoon, Darker than Black, Code Geass (if you like this might want to watch Z and ZZ Gundam), Jormungan, Beserk, Another, Durarara, Baccano, and maybe black star shooter to name a few. Judging from your posts I assume you would be more into the more actiony (Shonen) anime, if you end up liking any of those let me know and I'll name others.

Read or Die OVA and TV series, Both Fullmetal Alchemist series, and Monster are good starter anime.

Anybody watch Evangelion: 3.0 yet?
It was kind of boring, the characters development for everyone beside Shinji and Kaworu was terrible, and alot of things that happen for the plot to move forward are really stupid.
The first 30 - 45 minutes felt like I was watching a average gundam episode instead of something that resembles Evangelion.
The last 25 minutes were pretty good and left me wanting to see 4.0, but nothing 4.0 can do will get rid of the disappointment of almost all the character development from 2.0 being thrown away.
All and all 3.0 will most like be the weakest of the rebuild movies.
