It was a good show. I feel Gen Urobuchi's writing style is good and interesting, but in a strange way.

It fits my tastes for the most part anyway.

Even after nearly 20 years since the original series, GAINAX still makes Shinji the same emo lil b****.

Still much better than End of Eva. I kind of wished Kaworu would bang Shinji.

I started watching Trigun today. It's definitely an oldie (though I don't hear it mentioned, like, ever...) but I'm enjoying it so far. Much more than I thought I would tbh. I don't normally watch a lot of older series due to the animation and art style... plus it has the whole western thing going on but one of my house mates recommended it and put on the first episode and as I said, I'm pleasantly surprised. I ended up watching the first 5, and will be continuing. Vash is just tops.

It's Nanatsu no Taizai by the Nakaba Suzuki who's also the author of Kongo Bancho. So far the series has been pretty good.

As to Titans' ep 7 - it does seem better even for me. Although all characters are stunted lil kids who have no soldier training (or psychopaths - Eren!)... Mikasa is the only normal one. Potato girl is my fave tho.

I have mixed feeling's on the anime adaptation. On one hand it follows pretty closely on the happenings of the manga, but on the other, it feels like they're plowing through the plot in hyperspeed, and using still frame shots to skip some scenes the animators felt like were trivial, along with some truly jarring soundtrack decisions.

I also feel the dialogue feels more natural in the manga, but that could be because of the translation. On the plus side the animation quality is amazing. You can really see a lot of time went to that. I'll probably keep watching the anime even if the best parts of the series have already been aired.

Tanjiahdo Lofulamingo and Bisoromi Bear are my favorites of the Seven Gods of Pirate.

Not necessarily. If the case is the same as it was with 2.22, then the Hong Kong version should have English subtitles.

Oreimo has been fantastic up till now, but I know where they're going with the plot. This season is starting to have some slight incest leanings, and I have a feeling they're going to make it "all okay" by making it turn out that Kirino is adopted and thus, not a blood relative.

There are already encodes with unofficial English subs, but Ghost Lightning is talking about English dubs.
