I'm not that harsh on SAO but it does have flaws that will determine whatever if you like it or not. But if I know you correctly, which I might be wrong you must prefer shows that aren't full of flaws like SAO or Gundam SEED.
Yeah I really hate things full of flaws with nothing interesting about them.

I'd put Hanzo last. Largely because they always have the worst plot. Well Hebijo's was pretty **** too but the characters made up for it.
I've only played Shinovi Versus but from what I remember Hanzo might have had the worst plot but even so I started caring far more for the girls in Hanzo than in Gessen.
There were some really good character moments in the Hanzo storyline like
