I saw Gozilla (2014) yesterday, but I thought it was pretty silly. First of all, the movie claimed that the radioactivity on earth was 10 times as high during the days of the dinosaurs. WTF? The sun wasn't as bright back then, the atmosphere was thicker, and the major constituents in the Earth's background radiation don't have half lives short enough that this could be true. Second, the main character's dad had that cartoonish radiation detector that had a radiation hazard sign instead of units and read "0" at the exclusion zone in Japan. Again, wtf? Have the people who made this movie never heard of background radiation? There's no way there could be "0" radiation where they took that reading. Between these inaccuracies, the soldiers actually bothering to carry assault rifles when dealing with monsters the size of supertankers, and how not even one character in the movie could pronounce "Nevada" correctly, I just couldn't take this movie seriously at all. Also, the last scene was too dark, I couldn't tell what was happening in the fight at all.

I just couldn't take this movie seriously at all. Also, the last scene was too dark, I couldn't tell what was happening in the fight at all.

The only Godzilla meant to be taken seriously is the original.

Adjust your TV settings. Looked fine to me.

Oregairu is not based on a manga but on a Light Novel. I don't know if that's your thing.

 

I've read Volume 1-2 and 6-10 (S1 beginning and ending and S2) and overall studio Feel has been doing a good job of adapting their stuff for S2. Haven't read all the S1 volumes but from what I heard from people that did the studio that animated S1 skipped a decent amount of scenes.
