When they did it for the Naruto movie, the info said it would be dubbed, but we somehow ended up in a theater that had the subbed version.

DBZ should be dubbed for sure, since Battle of Gods was.

As for anime, think I might pick up Oregairu since Rah and Angel have been talking fondly about it as of late, so want to see what it is about. Plus a nihilist protagonist sounds to be up my alley of enjoyment.

Haibane Renmei is similar thematically to SEL, I actually liked it a bit more personally! So.. might be worth a shot..

 

It's on the to watch list so will hopefully get to it at some point. Will need a break first to rest the mind but there's interest!

His nihilist view is rather fascinating to behold and then we got the gradual (slow, slooooow) growth which cause him confusion which just make him feel a lot more human.

Finished DRRRx2

 

Ended kind of well, Izaya's god complex actually had consequences this time and the main character developed some when a new dude just unintentionally pointed out that he was an @ssshole. Can't wait for the other two parts but naturally I'll watch them dubbed cos the dub cast for DRRR is great.

 

Except for all the pronunciations like EE-KAY-BOOKA-ROW. Which doesn't bother me that much since it's the same thing with other people trying to speak Spanish.

 

So I watched the first episode of Space Dandy and I was thinking 'man this looks really good' and then I saw that the director was non other than the Legend himself, Shirichiro Watanabe.

 

It really is the kind of crazy fun I was looking for with a freaking Gorilla wearing what looks like a barrister and the dub is just too good to be true.
