Finished episode fifteen( I think ) of HxH... gah, so many episodes to watch. I thought Gon and Hisoka would develop a friendly rivalry, boy was I wrong lol. I was hoping to see Hisoka take on a kind of twisted enemy/mentor relationship with Gon, instead of the I'm crazy and want to kill you route they went with.

Okay I gotta say that one episode of Space Dandy was pretty damn genius on the creative scale.

 

An entire planet consisting of a mutated Plant Society? And it wasn't even like 'humanoid' plants, more like...

 

 

I love this kind of stuff, bizzare, out of this world imagery and design.

 

I wonder if I'll ever run into something like this in One Piece.

 

Sort of reminded me of Kaiba and a few other things like the Labyrinths in PMMM or the setting behind Tides of Numenara.

By the way, once you get introduced to a certain feminine character you'll know straight away 'where it's going.' Especially if you know your history. And you're right mostly, since it is pretty predictable even without the history.

 

But it's how they handle the 'way it's going' is what's great.
