Well it's more Rider knows her NP, so he would easily be able to move out of the way, same with his army. She would hit most of his army, but Rider and the rest of his army? It would just descend on her.

As for Ea vs Excalibur. Fate route already proves that Excalibur can't match Ea, Ea overpowers it everytime. Saber simply can't match Gil at all. no matter who her master is.

So Ea is just simply the top level of weapon, in terms of power.

I don't know how much you know about the UBW route but you make a very good point here.

As for Shirou, he doesn't have anywhere near enough power to take Gil on as he is. Even in his own Blade Works, surely he has not seen enough weapons to consecutively fire them off like Archer does, right?

UBW fires faster then GoB and it will overpower Gil the longer it fires, and Shiirou has put every blade he saw from GoB during the fight with Heracles, Lancer, Heracles, Rider and Archers weapons,   Sabers Caliburn and Medeas rule breaker into UBW. There's also any other type of weapons he has seen in his life and the fact that he has an unlimited amount of blades. Archer/Shirou also get a massive stat buff inside their RM.

But damn am I kind of excited to see what Saber Alter is capable of.

Going to make more progress on HF tonight I think cause I'm all settled in after the move and I've been thinking about it a lot lately. On day 14 and I can just feel the gloves coming off now, I want to see exactly what HF is capable of. Hnnngh. Still going to pit it as my favorite route so far even from just a technical standpoint (Nasu is very clever IMHO), so we'll see how the last two days go.

That's exactly what I want of it too. I might not even wait til the evening and get more done today cause hnnngh. I hope you folks don't mind my typical books. I do plan to do something regarding the VN as a whole since I really do adore the way it sets things up only to tear them down as the routes go on, but that'll come in time.

So it's not even a power thing, it's just that they are much faster than he is.

In terms of raw power, only Karna and Archer Heracles can match him. Cu and Achilles would give him a bad head ache, but they have certain weakness that will spell their fall. Archer will just keep reading Gils swords, replicate those and shoot them back at him and laugh.
