The new Titan was good. Not as high tension as the last few but I was expecting some falling action.

New Yahari was great and it seems like they are gettin ready to delve deeper into the plot surroundin Yukino's family.

And OreImo 8 was almost as hilarious as last week's.

Haven't watched the new Date A Live or Hentai Prince yet, but I'm excited to see Gargantia tomorrow with the way the last ep ended.

I enjoyed the new Titan, kind of glad they decided to gloss over the side chapter. Kept the pacing for the show good.

I'm not really sure how I feel about Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru, the show's pacing seems a bit off. The episodes seem to end 2 or 3 minutes too early, and it's not heading in a solid direction. The interaction between the characters is still as great as it's ever been. (english title My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)

Tried watching No. 6, had streaming issues. Will try again tomorrow. The three minutes I caught seemed interesting enough. The title reminds me of this song. I'm not going to lie, that's what really caught my attention.

I guess I'm going to be finishing Toradora to keep my anime gland satisfied until the new episodes for those shows come out. Might finish Ergo Proxy and give Steins;gate another chance depending on how much anime time I can make.

Anime time's certainly a scarce lately. :)

Yeah, I'm amazed as to how large a role music plays in anime. There's just something magical about Japanese cinematic music and high-quality animating of pictures and stories flowing together.

As to Titans' episode - I kinda hoped for a more out-there mythological and enjoyable over-epicly metaphysical way to solve their plot points really (tried to avoid even hints of spoilers here). Well, although I was kinda "what the hell does that mean", seems like the solutions are more down to earth. Which is fine. Though it did take away more in my suspension of belief than it gave. Overall am looking forward to more episodes!

Oh, and Mad Hanar - who's Fist?

Yep, he's the lamest underground crime lord with one of the most intimidating nicknames I've ever heard of, lol.

I purely enjoy Titans for the art work and the characters. The plot is kind of ehh, but I care more about what happens to the individual characters than I do the entire world. If my favorite characters make it in the end, I'll be pretty satisfied. Though I do enjoy the manga, it's like you said, seeing the world come alive through animation does something special for me. It really excites me to see the episodes come out even though I know what will happen in them.

The kids in Toradora are bloody psychopaths. Their problems would be solved with just a lil bit of basic communication, lol. Their insaneness makes for a pretty entertaining watch though.

As to no 6, well, I have to say...it gets really... original.

I should say this: it's straight up homosexual. Not undertones even. Pure old shonen ai. Sigh... Plot's otherwise good tho...

More people than you'd imagine. With this show it's understandable. 'Tis wrapped up in a really well done plot and style. And pretty awesome music.

Yet even pure yaoi has fans. Most of whom are female teens. But that stuff is most definitely just to turn people on. Or evoke some sense of novelty or romantic thrill? I don't know..There's no plot mostly. http://answers.yahoo...19160729AAw7Kyz

Though Yuri is boring as hell too for that matter. Maybe I'm just not into pure romance anime that much. Yet maybe it comes down to (the lack of) subtlety and the one-dimensional nature of 'em.

I've noticed a LOT of newer animes are making constant references to the different type of anime genres and character stereotypes. It was kinda funny at first, but every show seems to do it now.

Yeah. I'm tired of all the "tsundere this, tsundere that" myself. Never really felt those stereotypes were all that meaningful in the first place (tho I obviously love some character of most types - excluding those of more... um... excessive genres... the seme/uke distinction and the likes can stay in dark depths of fujoshi forums).

Meh, I didn't like the ending as I was rooting for Kawashima.

I definitely preferred Ami over Taiga as a tsundere.

Honestly, I knew the show had to end the way it did because...'

SPOILER

Everything was built up by, and revolved around, Taiga. There was no way they were going to keep her single and Yusaku already found the person he was crushing on. I think Kawashima was definitely more Ryuji's speed, but the nature of the show was to have the underdog win. I just couldn't believe how much of a harem the dude had without realizing it. The three cutest girls in class wanted him, and he didn't get with any of them until the last two months of his high school career. Psssssh.

/SPOILER

Did you get through it already? I'm on episode 5 and I'm glad not much has happened.

Is there any particular reason why there's so many model characters in anime. I mean, it's anime, they could just draw a really hot dude or chick. There isn't a need to make them models. Is modeling a big thing in Japan or something?

...Then again, it's not that uncommon. I've gone to school with 3 models, so I guess it's an industry on the rise.

OMG, I thought I'm the only Ami fan who want her to be with Ryu, and I got called crazy for it. :P

I feel like Ryu would be the perfect person to melt Ami's heart and bring her to accept herself more. She's comfortable around him, and he seems to accept her for who she is.

:P Get real. Ami is so much better. She's not a Mary-Sue like a certain someone.

Mary Sue? Taiga doesn't negate conflict, she creates it! Her own attitude is the cause of most of her life's problems (along with her parents being selfish dickweeds).

Also, dat DFC.

But I will concede that Ami is a really good character. They all were imo.

But in honesty, this is irrelavent because Louise is best tsundere anyway :I

It's pretty objective, but for me, Rin from Fate/Stay Night is the best tsundere with Yuno being the best Yandere.

I like everyone in Tora Dora except Minori. She's just annoying. Although I tend to pick on Taiga, it was mainly when the conversation involved Ami, my favorite Toradora character. She's a bit Sueish simply because all the problems involved her simply to make her more symphathetic. With that being said, she would still be in my top 3 favorite characters from the series.

Unroftunately, a lot of anime is basicly harem anime in disguise....
